Many years ago a hard-working farmer lived in a city. He was very upset for a few days. He did not have water in his fields. Due to lack of water, the crop of the farmer was deteriorating. A neighbor lived near the farmer's house. He had a well. The well was filled with water. The farmer thought of buying the well from his neighbor and when he asked his neighbor to take the well, the neighbor gave it to him. The farmer bought that well. The farmer became very happy.

Now the farmer could give water to his field. The next day, when the farmer went to get water from the well, his neighbor said, "Why are you taking water from the well? You asked for a well. How can you take well water? You asked for a well from me, not water.” The farmer's neighbor was very clever, he did not want to give water to the farmer, so he was entrapping it in his trap.

The farmer was very upset and he came to know that it is not going to give me water. After that, the farmer went to a clever person. The name of that clever person was Birbal. Birbal was one of the nine jewels of Emperor (Akbar). Birbal was very clever in intelligence. When the farmer told Birbal that his neighbor was not letting him take water from the well, while he bought that well from them. Birbal understood the whole thing.

 

The next day Birbal called the neighbor to him and asked him why you are not letting the farmer get water when he has bought this well from you. The clever man said the same thing again to the farmer. He said, "I have sold the well and not the water. So he cannot take my water. "

To this Birbal replied that I feel all right. But if you have sold water and the water is yours, then you have no business to keep water in your well. If the water is yours then the well belongs to that farmer, then you have to first get permission from the farmer to get water after you can take water. The neighbor understood that his cunning was no longer going to work. He apologized to Birbal and the farmer and gave the well to the farmer. The farmer became happy and thanked Birbal.

Moral of the story:

We should never cheat anyone. If you cheat someone, you will pay for it quickly. The fruit of deception is not good, so we should not cheat anyone.
